Too kind Ian. I did grow up in North Texas, so I probably still have some of that dry dust in my bones. The lyric video comes out within the week. Thanks.

I am thrilled to have found your newsletter. I will check out YouTube and found you on Substack through Louise songs of social issues I believe. Thanks for your musical essays, I will be reading more and sharing as I am led.

Music is also my passion. I use it to heal men and women coming out of abusive relationships.

I love the pausing at the end of each couplet and verse! Sounds like it’s from the dust bowl. Cool work!
