During the disarray of the Covid-19 cataclysm, it felt like the world was in a death spiral. It was hard to imagine the impact of a virus that was touted as a global disaster. It was even harder to filter out the hysteria from real science and common sense. It was near impossible to get away from groupthink.
It was a time when all of us were calculating our own risk of dying. It was a strange way to live for two years.
Song Background:
I wrote this song during the lockdown stages of the pandemic. The world was weird. It was difficult to feel safe or normal when everything was shutting down. Panic and fear alter your senses to dwell on the negative without seeing a way out.
Shout Out:
As we come out of our Covid-19 coma, the value of skeptical minds reveals its immense worth to the world. When a narrative is so strong in one direction and manipulated by institutions and moneyed interests, it’s critical to be critical.
This shout out highlights voices that question mainstream messages and fight for science and sanity. A few of the bold ones include @DrDebraSoh, Dr. Tess Lawrie, Dr. Pierre Kory, @BretWeinstein and Dr. Robert Malone.

Lyrics:
I can feel the world going round Everything seems to be upside down There's a strange new virus in the air Bringing distress and despair Oooohh, Oooohh, Oooohh If I fall I think I'm going to die I can hear the noise gaining ground Rules of the past, no longer found A new world order is in place To alter the path of the human race Oooohh, Oooohh, Oooohh If I fall I think I'm going to die When this world brings you down Find a quiet place inside Hear the truth, from all the lies And a better life is found I can see the faces full of fear Nothing but panic every year How do we stop the rising tide To keep ourselves sane and alive Oooohh, Oooohh, Oooohh If I fall I think I'm going to die
